These speakers rock!!! I put them in boxes under the driver and passenger console powered by a small 400w amp that I had in the garage. Although the 400w (200w x 2) is plenty, I could only imagine what they would do if I had a little more power to meet their capacity (400w x 2). The clearity is great and for 6x9's the bass is impressive. I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking to avoid bigs subs, but still wants quality sound. My brother has 4 high quality 6 1/2's in his boat amped to the max and my 2 6x9's blows his out of the water. Thanks AudioOutfitter.com for the fast shipping and best price on the net!
